Job Description

Our client is a high growth Accountancy and Tax Consultancy firm based in Romford. Due to significant business wins our client is now seeking to recruit an ACCA/CTA Accountant to join the firm in a Management capacity. The firm also offers some good careerdevelopment opportunities in the market and offers access to interesting / complex clients within a very caring and supportive environment.The Role

  • financial statements and tax computations for clients
  • Providing strategic consultancy and financial management services
  • Supervise a team of Accountants on the portfolio of all clients.
  • Manage the Tax, VAT and payroll departments to ensure timeframes and HMRC deadlines are being adhered too, along with the personal management of the relevant members of staff.
  • Manage and develop the practices use of Social Media for advertising and new client development.
This is a strong relationship management role, with you working directly with the director to ensure the best client care and the smooth operation of the general office. For the right candidate, this role could lead to being invited to join the directorshipin time.The directors are highly driven with making this practice the best it can be, but due to the pressure of building this practice we have fallen behind in some areas especially technology, therefore we are looking for someone who has a keen interest in increasingefficient ways of working.It is essential that you have had an existing career in practice and will ideally be ACCA or CTA qualified, however applicants who are qualified by experience will also be considered.As a General Practice Manager, you will receive a competitive market salary, plus a range of benefits including 28 days holiday (bank holidays included), office closure over the Christmas period, flexible working hours, rota parking at the office and theopportunity to develop your managerial skills.This is a fantastic and progressive job opportunity for an experienced general practitioner to develop and manage a team within a reputable, growing and modern firm in Essex.
