Job Description

You will be responsibile for helping and managing the Inbound & Outbound Stock flow process and ensure the business continue to maintain Optimum Customer Service Levels.Client DetailsMy client is a well established FMCG business seeking an experienced warehouse administrator to join their team.DescriptionThe key responsibilities include:

  • Placing internal purchase orders to ensure stock is ordered and delivered in a timely manner for Production.
  • Book in deliveries and co-ordinate Inter Depot Transfers, and ensure they are received on the system in a timely manner, and that any delays are communicated to the relevant departments.
  • Generate appropriate documentation for all material movements that are coming in and going out.
  • Investigating stock discrepancies and highlight any issues to the manager, if not resolved once Investigations have been carried out.
  • Work collaboratively with both internal and external Warehouse personnel, including the QA team.
  • Ensuring stocks are rotated correctly
  • Carry out daily and monthly stock takes to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Monitor, record and report any damaged or out of date stock in a timely manner.
  • Willingness to learn other areas of the Supply Chain/ Stock function, to include, but not limited to, analysing Forecast data to ensure the uninterrupted availability of stock, and any other reasonable duties, responsibility or requests that may be issuedby management from time to time.
ProfileThe successful candidate:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience within a Manufacturing / FMCG business would be desirable
  • Knowledge of ERP / Stock Control
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Time management and ability to prioritise workload.
  • Forklift license would be desirable
  • Hours to this role may vary based on business needs.
