Job Description

An exciting new opportunity has become available for an experienced mobile plant fitter to join a national hire company at one of their depots near Rochester. Salary up to £27,000 DOE plus company van for commuting and business use.Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday working hours

    • The Job Role of a Mobile Plant Fitter
  • You will be required to work across the Kent area, carrying out on-site breakdowns, repairs along with routine service and maintenance work on arange of plant equipment up to 10 tonnes such as diggers, dumpers, or excavators.
  • During quieter periods, you will be required to assist the engineering team within the workshop
  • You will be required to liaise with the parts department along with ensuring all the compliance paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
    • To Be Successful as a Mobile Plant Fitter
  • You will have previous experience working as a plant fitter, mechanic, engineer, or technician.
  • You will ideally hold a mechanical qualification or have served an apprenticeship, however, candidates will be considered if they have equipment experience
  • You will have knowledge of plant machinery, for example, JCB, CAT, Hamm, Bomag, Volvo, Kubota, and Hitachi.
    • The CompanyYou would be working for a successful plant hire supplier looking to expand their established team, which will assist them in keeping up with their company demands.
