Client Side Buildings / Facilities Manager - Kent/Hybrid - c£55k + BenefitsWe’re working with a major Building Society whose branches (and connected offices) span Kent, Hampshire, Wolverhampton and London.Within their in-house Property Services team, they now seek a Commercial Buildings Manager / Facilities Manager to oversee their operational portfolio as follows:• Pro-actively manage and monitor all UK critical assets ensuring premises are receiving the agreed levels of service, quality & standards.• Ensure that accurate and comprehensive records are kept within the CAFM system and are aligned to HSE regulations, Building Statutory Compliance and Quality Assurance.• Ensure that all critical asset faults, defects or failures are swiftly investigated through root cause analysis so that buildings and assets are in a safe and serviceable order.• Carry out routine quality checks on reactive and planned works, integrating contractor processes, procedures and standards of work.• All premises should have comprehensive planned maintenance schedule and supporting records in the CAFM system.• Managing and monitoring the Building Management System• Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared, reviewed and completed and utilised for all tasks (PPM’s and reactive) carried out to ensure safe working practices.• Identify potential technical improvements for existing plant and maintenance equipment to facilitate improved reliability and /or cost reduction which is documented for CAPEX approval.• Ensure in-depth building condition reports are carried out annually on all critical assets.• Review contractor quotations to ensure they meet standards and best value.• Create asset standardisation and design specifications for all critical assets.• Develop a suite of Standard Operating Procedures for all PPM activities.• Scope and define how premises can be made intelligent, efficient and cost effective.The suitable Commercial Buildings Manager / Facilities Manager will have at least 3 years direct experience in a similar role and hold a Mechanical, Electrical or Building qualification alongside knowledge of (or exposure to) H&S (NEBOSH), FM (IWFM) , CADand Building Management Systems (BMS’s).Remuneration for the Commercial Buildings Manager / Facilities Manager will include a basic up to £50k, performance bonus up to 15%, healthcare, outstanding pension, life cover, 6 weeks holiday (plus public) to start alongside an extensive list of retailbenefits.If you are an accomplished Commercial Buildings Manager / Facilities Manager keen to work client side (direct for a Building Society), meet the above criteria and live in or close to Kent and wish to express your interest or find out more, please apply nowfor immediate consideration and further info.
