  • To deputise and assist their manager in all matters.
  • To execute key process elements as directed by Management on a daily basis through direct management of the team deployment resources.
  • To manage all aspects of the department processes.
  • To manage the day - to day and daily operations of the department.
  • To manage the individuals of the team daily.
  • To execute performance reviews and regular communication with individuals within the team
  • Implement plans, process and systems changes directly to the team.
  • Manage input and ideas for change requests back up the chain of command.
  • To use knowledge of business needs and changing requirements to help members of their team achieve daily targets and achieve their individual targets set for securing bonuses.
  • Assist in the planning of short- and long-term staffing to meet business targets. Execute these plans.
  • Manage deployment of staff to key tasks and agree resources from other areas as required.
  • Execute staff performance reviews / new probationary period reviews.
  • Report and monitor on targets and results and take any necessary action escalating to the next level of management if they deem necessary.
  • To facilitate and monitor the watch external 3rd party refurbishment and servicing process through the administration in place.
  • Manage performance encouraging efficiency and suggesting ways to help staff to improve
  • Execute process performance improvements daily.
  • Use experience and knowledge to support staff and influence process and systems development.
  • Collect performance figures, collating and handing on to Team Leaders at the conclusion of shift.
  • Ensure that staff always adhere to security and health and safety policies.
  • Ensure all audit processes are adhered to by all staff always including management.
  • Suggest new process to improve efficiencies and audit process.
  • Encourage open communication and maintain good working relationships with team and others in the business.
  • Help with the training and development of your team through Aspire and coach individuals as necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Customer service
  • Encourages and organises the team to make sure that the service given to the stores is of the highest standard.
  • Execute management plan to ensure the efficient processing and despatch of stock to stores
Centre Environment
  • Ensures that all staff are compliant with H&T working practices and Health and Safety Guidelines.
  • Supports centre management and operational requests.
  • Keyholding responsibilities are required
financial management.
  • Drives centre performance against key targets, so that the centre consistently achieves its goals.
Operational compliance
  • To ensure that all staff are working to correct procedures and policies.To deal with any query in a prompt and professional manner escalating to the next level of management as required.
  • Complete all records accurately on a daily basis forwarding the relevant information up to the Team Leader for their records.
Team management
  • Works with Team Leaders to make sure that each shift is in the best position to deliver the requirements on a daily basis through staff allocation and reporting back immediately if there are any further requirements.
Projects & initiatives
  • Assist in the Implementation of projects and initiatives with the Team Leaders, so that disruption is minimised and changes land successfully with colleagues.
