Construction Project Manager - £44-46,000As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful pricing and project delivery of small structural repairs works and maintenance for various client projects. Our client is a well-established independent reactive Facilities Management company. You will be frequently liaising with clients, engineers, councils and building control, and will be accountable for all site administration, record keeping, completion and issue of reporting documents, overseeing Health & Safety and Welfare of all site personnel, maintaining projected programmes and the quality of workmanship.The role* Meeting with an existing portfolio of customers to survey and price projects for their Civils and Building fabric construction requirements small value works taking up to 1 week (Many 2-3 days)* Providing quotations and utilising knowledge of how long things take to complete to price correctly* Producing project programmes;-- Producing Construction Phase Plans, health and safety files and risk assessments, maintaining and implementing these throughout the course of a project- Liaising with schedulers to book in tradesmen required- Coordinating works and logistics in relation to the project delivery- Communicating with clients, their management team, and third-party contractors to act as a conduit for all information to and from the site team- Ensuring clients expectations are met and exceeded throughout the project- Carrying out regular meetings with clients and their management team to discuss progress, decisions required, any changes to scope and variations- Carrying out regular site visits to inspect quality of work and compliance with drawings- Identifying any variations to the scope of works, communicating to the Directors with any variations details for pricing and ensure the client is kept fully informed* Understanding Health and Safety site-based requirements including but not limited to;-- Issue and inspection of PPE- Maintaining adequate welfare provisions- Completing site investigations & inspections, fire safety & evacuation measures, first aid measures- Educating & involving the workforce in terms of site meetings and toolbox talks, site lay-out (welfare / material store / waste store etc), updating, displaying and conveying RAMS.Skill set required- This role will suit a problem solver who likes a challenge- You will need good knowledge of construction works (Structural and civils repairs) Leaks, Tarmacking and resurfacing, Manhole and broken margins, toilet block reconstructions, small works, roofing- ISOH or NEBOSH - able to deliver RAMS and H+S paperwork required- Able to work on own initiative but able to collaborative and coordinate using excellent communication skills- Self-motivated, highly organised and be able to independently manage his/her workload- Highly conscientious, someone who prides himself/herself on quality attention to detail- Sound knowledge of health and safety considerations and legislation- Experience in aspects of quantity surveying or a willingness to expand knowledge in this area- Forward thinking and process-orientedA driving license and own vehicle is essential.Apply online or call Sarah Gilbertson Option 2
