Job Description

Business Development RepresentativeThis sales role is based in the Medway area and will require considerable travelling to meet prospects, build relationships and attend trade shows. This is a 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30 with 30 minutes unpaid for lunch) and commands a basesalary of up to £45,000 per annum, with potential OTE of £65,000 per annum, plus a company car or car allowance. Because of company growth, we are looking for someone to work closely with the Commercial Manager.This is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of market sectors including marine, specialist vehicles and off highway equipment, as well as to play akey role in helping the business achieve its plans for future growth. You will build relationships with potential customers and work positively to successfully convert leads into ongoing customer relationships.We want someone with a proven experience in a sales development role, who has experience with CRM packages and an ability to understand technical products. You will be organised with strong attention to detail, a self-starter who has the ability to sourceand qualify leads, who is skilled at relationship building and developing rapport with all stakeholders. Someone with an outstanding personality and communication skills!Responsible for developing new business across all market sectors and increasing the pipeline, as well as undertaking sales prospecting, connecting with clients through cold-calling, across social media or other means. Understanding key sales data is crucial,as well as to carry out customer and market research. Educate potential clients as to the features and benefits of the products, while being an effective brand ambassador for the face of the company and promotor of their products.It is an essential requirement of this role that the candidate has their own transport and a full, clean, UK driving licence.
