Job Description

Are you an immediately available Accounts Assistant Are you looking for a Hybrid roleJOB TITLE: Accounts AssistantLOCATION: Medway City Estate, KentSALARY: £14.00 - £15.00 per hourTERM: TemporaryHOURS: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)BENEFITS: Weekly Pay, Up to 28 days Annual Leave, Discount Schemes, Access to Well-being platformsAre you an accomplished Accounts Assistant Are you looking for a flexible work arrangement that allows you to balance your professional and personal lifeThe day to day duties in your new job would be:

  • Statement reconciliation (150 pcm) with a focus on reconciling accounts before they are paid
  • Helping with ad-hoc jobs to assist testing in run up to changing accounts system
  • Credit control
  • Raising of Sales Invoices
  • Sending Copy Invoices
  • Chasing Committed Costs (chasing suppliers for work / supplies not yet invoiced)
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Reconciliation and analysis of company payment cards
  • Ad hoc tasks as requested to support the Finance team
Wed love to speak to candidates who have:
  • AAT Qualified with minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Experience of accounting systems such as Sage, Cybercube, Halo, Excel, BiO, Iplicit
  • Ability to convey information clearly and accurately both orally and in writing
  • Systematic and thorough working approach with the ability to work independently
  • Immediately availability and happy to commit to a temporary position
