Job Description

We are hiring a Web Trading Analyst to join our successful Merchandise department. You will have the opportunity to have an impact on the commercial opportunities across our websites and ultimately help drive the business.The role is varied and will include:

  • Working with the Trading team to assist in the strategy to drive Footasylum to be a successful Omnichannel business
  • In conjunction with E-com and Merch, forecast Web KPIs In conjunction with Merch assist in the formulation of future "exclusive" online budgets to allow trials and testing of new product
  • Assist the Senior Trading Analyst in ensuring FA and all the DTC sites have a clear pre season and in season strategy using Data collected and shared - on site behavior insights, traffic, search, and conversion statistics to give a potential demand view
  • Working in conjunction with the Trading team, develop reporting to provide meaningful data to illustrate category and Brand and size opportunities that influence buying decisions
  • Identify areas of strength and weakness, work with the trading team propose actions to increase sales and minimise risk
  • Create and run standardised reporting to assist buying and merch to make commercial decisions
  • In conjunction with the Design/ and product trading teams ensure that the correct product is driven through all digital marketing channels
  • Ensure that New in and Launch product is stocked and executed to be Best in Market
  • Build strong relationships with the core Merch team and ensure they understand Key Web focus and can support
  • Alongside the Senior Trading Analyst deliver information to enrich competitive pricing decisions and promotional strategy, to ensure promotions are targeted at the correct consumer at the correct time to maximise profit, ROAS and stock turn across the estate
  • Understand the end to end process of product journey from supplier to customer and suggest ways to improve efficiency and service levels
  • Work closely with the Web Team to understand and maximise return on investment versus sales
  • Together with the SEO team ensure the buying and merchandise function are aware of the online SEO strategy and can feed into and use the knowledge for future product planning to enhance google rankings
  • Assist the Digital Trading Merch to formulate and share digital and Omnichannel data to easily decipher Territory product growth drivers both nationally and internationally
  • Provide digital behavioral data to enhance head to toe offers and gain an understanding of consumer buying patterns across item categories to enable apparel to be highlighted with key footwear franchises
  • Collectively with the Trading team, share data insights across retail and e-com to ensure all product and pricing strategies are employed in a unified manner across all channels
  • Utilise customer and competition analysis to optimise product assortment and maximise revenue
