Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting Tutors to support students in the Rochdale area who are out of mainstream educationAt Prospero Teaching, we work closely with the local authorities, mainstream schools, and SEND Teams in Rochdale and surrounding areas and we specialise in providing qualified and experienced tutors to work with children in looked after care (LAC/CLA), pupilsin mainstream schools that require additional educational support and young people who are not currently accessing mainstream education.We are currently looking to expand our team of tutors who provide 1:1 and small group support to students across Rochdale and surrounding areas. Successfully appointed tutors will be required to deliver core subject support (English, Maths & Science) andwill be delivering anywhere from 2 to15 hours per week during the academic year.Sessions will be taking place face-to-face at students homes, their schools, and potentially local community hubs too. Applicants must therefore be willing to travel for their sessions as well as being available to work online when required. Further knowledgeof the students ability and targets for education will be provided, but you will be expected to gather your own resources and deliver the curriculum you deem fit based on your observations.To be considered as a Tutor, you must hold QTS, have experience working with a variety of SEND, and have a background in teaching or private tutoring.
