Job Description Salary - Up to £28,000Location - RochdaleConsultant - Sarah DuffyOur Client was founded in 2001 and we are established as the market leader for rapidly deployable mobile surveillance systems.In the role of Fleet Coordinator, you will be responsible for the procurement and maintenance of our fleet, adhering to and overseeing all transport compliance schedules, coordinating all third-party fleet-related accounts and monitoring driver performance.Benefits

The Fleet Coordinator Role Overview:
  • Liaise with the Compliance Manager for sourcing of new company vehicles, in line with department budgets.
  • Creating new relationships with garages to widen our options when vehicles need work on them.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is retained and accurate logging on spreadsheets for callouts, inspections, servicing, and repairs.
  • Ensure all fleet legal requirements and company compliance targets are met.
  • Responsible for ensuring all vehicles are kept up to date with insurance, tax and MOT, coordinating services and MOTs when required.
  • Inspecting daily mileage, check sheets and service sheets to ensure all vehicles are road-legal.
  • Responsible for ensuring the Vehicle accident/incident process and procedures are followed correctly.
  • Conduct Fleet Inductions for all relevant new starters to ensure processes are adhered to.
  • Ensure the Driver Handbook and all Fleet associated policies and procedures are up to date and record the issuing and reissuing

  • Communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and sustain strong relationships.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritise and manage a varied fleet of vans and cars, in excess of 70 vehicles.
  • Ability to deliver reactive and proactive maintenance activities nationally
