Job Description

2x Tenancy Support Worker Vacancy waiting to be filledVenn Group have been approached by a Charity and would like to introduce the following position availablePosition: 2x Tenancy Support WorkerLocation: Rochdale (OL11)Rate:£13.50-£14.00 p/hour PAYE Inc Holiday Pay, Length: 3 months minimum (Temp to Perm) and Temp to 9 Month Fixed Term contractHours: 36 hours p/week Mon-Fri (Occasional Weekend Work)The role will predominantly involve:

  • Providing a high-quality supported accommodation service to either young families at risk of homelessness, or women at risk of homelessness
  • To assess needs of all clients and, in conjunction with them, devise a support plan to address and identify need
  • To ensure initial triage contact of each client is undertaken within 48 hours of receiving a referral, and an initial assessment within 5 days
  • To complete risk assessments, for a caseload of clients, incorporating safety planning, reviewing on a regular basis
  • To provide transitional resettlement support to clients moving into independent accommodation
  • To ensure the safeguarding of clients and their children
