Job Description

Due to expansion, my Client, who is a market leader, is looking to recruit a Specification Controller within the food industry. This role will be based out of their offices in the Rochdale area.The role will suit somebody who is looking to start a career within the food safety industry, or experienced Specification Coordinator who is looking for a change!Training will be provided for this role, so experience is not essential but a passion for food safety is!The role

  • Reporting to the Group Technical Manager you will manage product data in order to answer customer queries and support the Sales Team to ensure continued growth
  • Predominantly focused on the Business-to-Business part of the business you will be responsible for covering a wide range of product groups
  • Completing both internal and customer specifications either via standard office documents or web-based specification systems
  • To understand the legal and technical aspects of product specification management, ensuring the customer is provided with accurate and detailed information to tight customer deadlines
  • Some internal auditing of the repack facility
    • Requirements
  • You will have a strong attention to detail and great communication skills
  • The ability to liaise closely with stakeholders including customers and suppliers based in the UK and around the world
  • Experience of working in the food industry, specifically with product or raw material specifications would be advantageous
