Job Description

The Company:Brewster Partners are working with a highly successful and rapidly growing client to recruit a Senior Credit Controller for their support site based in Middleton.This position will pay a crucial role in the team, acting on a national account basis - assisting in the management of the national account ledger in regard to credit and risk outcomes, ensuring strong and reliable customer relations. The role is a brilliantopening for an individual with Credit Control experience in a larger company format to take the next important step in their career.The Job:Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Handling new account applications and processing accordingly, setting up through Trinity GUI system
  • Identify and elaborate terms and limitations for customer accounts
  • Completing credit checks for new customer accounts,
  • Regularly reviewing the aged debt report and proposing these reviews to the account managers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, with the purpose of creating strong working relationships
  • Contacting customers where needed to resolve issues with payments, dealing with any bounced back payments
  • Identify and escalate any bad debt to the relevant areas and assist in the collection process where possible
  • Conducting all tasks in a professional manner, representing the company and its interests
The Candidate:
  • Previous experience in a credit control role of a similar nature will be required (ideally in a larger business format)
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Competent IT skills, specifically with MS Excel (Vlookups/Pivot tables)
  • Ability to work as a part of a team - collaborate with various different departments and colleagues
