Empowering Learning are recruiting for a SEMH Teaching Assistant on behalf of a lovely Rochdale based secondary school to work on a one to one basis with a year 10 student with Social and Emotional needs. The student needs a empathetic and compassionateindividual with an understanding of the issues they face on a daily basis. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant must also show a willingness and ability to develop a positive rapport with the students family and be confident informing the family of progresson a daily/weekly basis.Interviews are initially over the phone at 3:15pm on Thursday 1st September. The first call entails a discussion with the school SENCO and Assistant SENCO.There are no formal qualifications required for this SEMH Teaching Assistant position although it is advised to carefully read the full advert prior to applying if you are seriously looking to be considered for this role.
