Job Description

Project Quantity Surveyor Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Package Type: Permanent Chorley I am currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable regional building contractor who have a number of projects underway at present. They work across a multitude of sectors including Commercial, Education, Health and Industrial and jobs are generally valued from £2m - £18m.They are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team to work across their North West Schemes. They have several large design and build projects needing a strong Project Quantity Surveyor to come on to deliver. Some with a good background in delivering education, university works would be of particular interest.Duties will include:

  • Monthly Valuations
  • Preparing Bills of Quantities
  • Carrying out Take Offs
  • Monitor material and labour costs
  • Communicate with project staff and sub-contractors regularly to ensure all commercial procedures in place
    • Individual Requirements:
  • Qualified to Degree level in relevant area desirable.
  • Previous experience working with a main contractor
