Job DescriptionWe are looking to recruit a Quality Technician for one of our clients in Greater Manchester, a leader in interior markets.About You·With at least 3 years quality technician experience with the confidence to work independently and with a strong team dynamic.·You’ll be highly organised, you’ll have a good eye for detail and be confident managing your worn workload.·It is desirable that you are educated at a degree level or equivalent in a chemistry or textile discipline.·A good understanding of fabric testing on upholstery fabrics.·A range of knowledge on weaving, finishing, dying and printing.·You’ll be passionate about textiles with a drive to succeed!The Job·Reporting into the Group Technical & Quality Manager, you will maintain ongoing Quality Assurance & Control systems.·You will carry out testing on production samples and all raw materials.·You will assist the laboratory trials, including lab daw downs.· The role will include you inspecting and creating reports which outline your findings, along with any customer complaints.·Maintain and help improve systems relating to all technical and quality aspects of the role.·You will conduct audits and create specifications for all products.Company Snapshot·A leading home furnishing and textiles finisher in the UK supplying to major retailers.·They are experts in their field, with the capabilities for all dyeing, testing and finishing methods.·Modern and vibrant offices.·You’re surrounded by experts who’ll support you.What You Get·Up to 25k basic salary, plus company pension, free parking.·They will offer you a career, not a job.·A fantastic business with a strong presence in their field.What NextIf you have the required experience, then get in touch now for more information!
