Job Description

We are hiring a Product Manager to join our Platform Team who serve our internal development teams.The Product Manager will balance the users needs and aspect along with the businesses desire to create exciting new solutions to how we can serve our other teams better and maintain existing functionalities to keep everyone going. The individual we arelooking for excels at clear communication and transparency.This is an exciting role for an experienced Product Manager who can:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and has the architectural mindset to plan ahead and connect the dots
  • Clearly articulate, identify and validate opportunities to a broad audience
  • Create clear problem statements, hypotheses and metrics that will motivate and inspire a team
  • Has a pragmatic approach but understands the long term value of the work we do
  • Document requirements and help collect specifications from stakeholders and partners
  • Helps team to create and provide documentation that allows internal and external teams to use our services
  • Has Business Analytic approach who can help answer the Whys and Whats to requested features
The ideal candidate will have some technical experience or knowledge of services and have worked closely with stakeholders, define outcomes and success criteria, and has experience in roadmapping as per the approach in the case study (evolution of services) Why Footasylum We have been going through a digital transformation, changing how we deliver value to our business. The Team You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team alongside a delivery manager, software developers and QA engineers. The team ensures the smooth operation of other teams around them and builds new APIs and microservices to enable the rest of the departmentsgoals.You will also contribute towards the established community of practices at Footasylum for product managers to learn from other teams and promote better ways of working.This is a chance to help us define the core of our internal services and goals and make a great difference. You will work closely with the senior team of retail, merchandising, ecommerce, and logistics as this experience impacts a significant number of businessfunctions and is at the heart of our digital transformation journey. About You Within your current organisation, you are highly inquisitive. You spend time forming relationships with other business functions to create openness to allow the vision and strategy.You support those around you, you are constantly learning and work in a kind, considerate and collaborative manner with a keen interest in new ways of working.As product manager you will be bringing the ideas together to create a very clear and visible roadmap, encouraging your team to work in the open. You will discover the needs of the business and the customer and rally the team around them creating a roadmapof outcomes and objectives, to bring the two worlds together. You will build a collaborative culture by working closely with various business functions whilst leading a culture of experimentation to test the assumptions about the product journey. You willdefine the key metrics and targets and get the business intrigued by the insights the team are discovering.You will be facilitating workshops to create a shared understanding the business problem, you will work with the team in delivering iteratively, creating quick feedback loops and testing assumptions as you go, to avoid a big bang approach.You will be able to prioritise the journey based around the cost of delay, business impact and qualitative data. You will always have an eye on value and delivering exceptional services. Your team will continuously inspect and adapt in order to improve howthey work. At every point, you will have the support of your team and the business to do the right thing with autonomy, mastery, and purpose.Above everything else, you will have the opportunity to influence our decisions, help define standards across the teams and contribute to a healthy and happy working environment.
