DescriptionWere looking for a Principal Nav/Business Central Engineer to join our NAV/Business Central Implementation team, to lead in developing features that will enable better business outcome across our company.The individual we are looking for will have the ideal combination of technical and soft skills to be able to work in a cross functional team. The team need someone with lots of NAV and Business Central experience to lead from an engineering point of view,keen to share their knowledge, and help us make the most of the technology.This is a full-time role, and our offices are in Central Manchester and Rochdale. We currently offer hybrid working with the recommendation of 3 days a week in the office. You are comfortable in line managing the Nav/BC Engineers and Power Apps Engineers in your team and youllalso contribute towards the established community of practices at Footasylum and help promote better ways of working.The team are currently involved in enhancing the current 365+ user NAV implementation and preparing a re-implementation in D365 Business Central. The work is exciting, using latest Microsoft technology, and the team is always learning and testing the capabilitiesof new technology.About YouWithin your current organisation, you are a team player but also capable of taking the lead on new initiatives. As a Principal Engineer, you coach and possibly line manage other NAV/Business Central engineer(s) in your area. You support those around you,youre constantly learning, and work in a considerate and collaborative manner with a keen interested in new ways of working - and what value it can add for the team. For you, its not just about the technical solution, you want to understand how you are deliveringvalue to the business.Youll see the value in engaging with stakeholders and the wider teams at Footasylum to have early involvement to ensure we build the right thing at the right time. Making our work open and supporting our colleagues career progression are things you reallyvalue, as we try and create meaningful change at Footasylum based on working together.Youll need experience of

• Developing within Dynamics NAV (Versions 2015 to 2018).
• Operated in an end-user environment, or at a Dynamics partner in an implementation role.
• Experience developing AL extensions for Business Central.
• Pair or mobbing on problems, sharing knowledge, and removing silos.
• Coaching and mentoring Nav/Business Central engineers, able to help them level up their skills.
• Connecting with different roles within the team and the department and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Using Azure Devops to release software in both test and production environments.

• Javascript or other control add-ins

• PowerBI
