Job Description

DescriptionWe are looking for a Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join our finance team.Footasylum has been developing as one of the UKs leading omni-channel retailers and the strength of our Head Office operation is our people.We are looking for an experienced PQManagement Accountant who has brilliant stakeholder managements skills, who is comfortable compiling reports and holding meetings with department leaders to correlate data and support improvements and efficiencies.The TeamThe Finance team consist of 23 people.You will be working alongside, and closely with the Head of Management Accounts, as well as part of a wider team that will focus on range of areas within Footasylum.You will be working alongside, and closely with3 other financial accountants, a FP&A Manager and Assistant FP&A analyst. You will also have direct exposure to the FD of the company.Responsibilities

  • Accounting and reporting processes for revenue streams.
  • Analysing and explaining variance analysis.
  • Preparing Tax returns for submission to HMRC.
  • Monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and investigating outstanding items.
  • Assisting in the preparation of the year-end financial account.
  • Assisting with statutory accounts and year end audits.
  • Maintaining accounting and financial reporting process documentation.
