Job Description

  • Use rule based algorithms and manual modification to merchandise the website and mobile app
  • Improving the journey for the customers by reviewing search words and drop offs
  • Assisting in the analysis of performance through daily, weekly and annual reporting
  • Regularly review the dropdown navigation menu to keep it relevant to the stock and season
  • Site walks throughout the day to raise any potential issues - broken links, incorrect product descriptions, placement and imagery
  • Merchandising search terms and managing search analytics
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure best stock is marketed to its maximum potential
  • Monitor web stock levels, sell through rate and margin to make merchandising decisions for products
  • Working with the analytics & UX team on relevant projects associated with search and merch
  • Use of analytics tools including Google Analytics and other behavioural analytics platforms to monitor alerts, tracking & consumer journey data
    • The Opportunity This is an opportunity to join one of the most exciting e-commerce teams in the retail sector. As an Online VM Assistant you will play an integral part in ensuring that our consumers have a positive experience on the website, assisting the Online Visual Merchandiser with optimising product placements and search results across the website. We are looking to give someone an opportunity to develop their skills and also allow them the platform to add value in an already successful team. Skills & Experience Other than an open mind and the drive to succeed, there are certain skills youll need to get the job done:
  • A passion for the product and an interest in footwear/fashion
  • Analytically minded
  • Confident with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with impeccable attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team managing multiple projects and the ability to meet fixed deadlines
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage own workload
