Multi-Trade Operations Manager - Construction£32,389 - £36,179 per annumRochdaleHours:36.15 per week in line with service requirements and SMART Flexible Working Arrangements Plus: Mileage is paid for any work related travel at a rate of 45p per mileOur client is the UK’s first tenant and employee co-owned mutual housing society, with 12,100 homes, with their homes, offices and work all based in the local area. Their ambition is to support their communities in Rochdale to grow, thrive and improve.This Manager’s role is a permanent role within the Responsive Repairs TeamYou will provide the management supervision, direction and manage performance of the repairs team members to support the strategy for the service.You will monitor and quality control the service standards to ensure a high level of service is provided. You will have an up to date knowledge of Health & Safety standards to ensure that the team maintains a work safe home safe mind set.In your new role you will be expected to the monitor and update the performance across your team using their housing management system and provide management information as directed and also have

  • A background in delivering a high quality repairs and maintenance service within strict time frames
  • Experience of managing and directing a team with the ability to plan and manage own and others workloads.
  • IT Skills and be able to present data on job planning, team and individual performance.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and pressurised situations
  • Be customer focused with a proven track record in improving the customer experience
  • Knowledge of all current H & S legislation and safe working practices.
  • Manage Contractors to ensure VFM and service standards.
  • Flexible in your approach to the working day
