Job Description

  • Execute our technical roadmap developments, advanced experiments and experiences using languages and technologies such as: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Vue.js and REST APIs
  • Collaborate with our existing to development team to support large scale developments and medium updates
  • Innovate and maintain our headless responsive modules
  • Liaise with our IT teams to deliver combined projects
  • Work exceptionally closely with the UX team to deliver technical requirements for our testing and personalisation roadmap
  • Coordinate with our digital platform and hosting suppliers to assist with technical tickets
  • Provide technical support across all teams with App & web requests
  • Support across multiple teams when launching limited products
  • Support the build of transactional and marketing emails templates
  • Work with our Technical Analyst to support with tracking optimisations
  • Develop key landing and campaign pages
  • Use our New content CMS to add and improve content modules
  • QA technical projects prior to release
  • Research current best practices and making recommendations for improvements and technical innovation
    • The Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity to join our e-commerce UX & Delivery team, across one of the most exciting retail businesses in the UK. Reporting into the Head of UX and Digital Delivery you will be responsible for delivering our exciting digital roadmap projects and provide technical support for web and App requests. Youll be collaboratively working with a well-established UX and Front-End delivery team with experience in delivering in a fast-agile environment, consisting of UX researchers, designers, developers, data analysts, junior UX executives and project managers. You will also have the opportuniyt to mentor Junior Developers within the team too.Skills & Experience
  • Experience +3 year in similar role
  • Good Ecommerce knowledge with an understanding of responsive web technologies
  • HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, React.js, REST API (essential)
  • Vue.js, MySQL, Storybook, TDD (Test Driven Development) - (desirable but not essential)
  • App development experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to recommend and commutate ideas
  • Ability to react quickly based on data or trading information
  • Able to work independently and as part of an extremely collaborative team
