Job Description

Management Accountant position within a large manufacturing business in the North West. The role has a heavy commercial aspect and you will have the opportunity to build on both technical and commercial experience.Client DetailsThe client is a rapidly growing manufacturing business which have been growing from both organic growth and acquisitions. They are looking to expand their finance team to keep up with this accelerated growth. They are looking for a Management Accountantwho will be able to communicate with non-financial personnel as well as being a strong financial modeller.Description

  • Analyse key financial information and provide reporting to the Senior Management
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual budgeting
  • Review spend against budget and challenge key stakeholders on significant variances
  • Prepare forecasting to support medium and long-term business planning
  • Develop and improve reporting to enhance insight and drive value
  • Enhance automation of financial processes and reporting to minimise manual work; creating efficiencys to focus on adding value
  • Work with other stakeholders in the business, particularly the Commercial team, to identify new KPIs and opportunities for growth and performance improvement
  • Informing key strategic decisions and supporting with project work
  • Advising on the financial implications of business decisions
  • Support in developing more junior members of the Finance team
ProfileThe successful candidate will be fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and they will have a strong experience working with Excel. You will have a heavy commercial aspect in the role, so having experience business partnering in a previous role will be beneficial.Experience working in the manufacturing sector would be a benefit, but is not required.Job OfferThe client is looking to offer up to 45,000 for the right candidate. They have a market leading benefits package which includes private health care and a good holiday allowance. You will also have the opportunity to build on both your technical and commercialskills whilst learning via osmosis from the senior finance members.
