Job Description

Page Personnel HR are working with a rapidly growing SME business within the Tech sphere. They are recruiting for an HR Manager to join and support the company in setting up and managing their HR function. This is a really exciting time to be joining andwould suit someone ready to commit to and grow with the company. Offices are based in Middleton.Client DetailsOur client were established over twenty years ago and have experienced incredible growth over the last three years. Due to growth, they want to bring in an HR Manager who will support them on their growth journey and develop their own HR career in the process.The role is suited to someone who has previously set up HR functions from scratch and have a passion for people and the success of the business. Their offices are based in Middleton.DescriptionThe key responsibilities for the HR Manager in Middleton are:

  • establishing recruitment processes across the business
  • working with all teams to help with on-boarding
  • maintaining and updating HR systems
  • managing and administering employee benefits
  • advising managers on best practice and conditions of employment
  • managing employee relations processes
  • writing and reviewing policies and processes
  • identifying skills gaps and supporting the delivery of training
  • providing monthly HR statistics for management and board meetings
  • managing and promoting wellbeing programmes
  • promoting equality and diversity in the business
  • managing HR projects as required
ProfileThe successful candidate will have/be:
  • previous experience in an SME in HR capacity
  • previous experience in setting up an HR function
  • strong knowledge of employment law
  • excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • ability to think strategically and commercially
  • payroll knowledge is desirable not essential
  • passionate, enthusiastic and driven
  • CIPD qualified or working towards (desirable)
