Graduate Building Services Engineer (Mechanical)£25,000 - £28,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Private Healthcare + Pay and Role Progression + Flexi + Permanent MiddletonAre you a recent building services graduate looking to kickstart your career in a rapidly growing and successful M&E contractor which is highly regarded in the commercial sector and offers a range of bespoke new build and fir-out designs personally tailoredto the clients briefSince they were established 12 years ago, they have grown from strength to strength and have built strong foundations to create impact within the M&E sector. They have recently opened a second office and are looking for like-minded individuals who will takethe business to the next level.Are you looking to progress your career and technically upskill, working within an expert surveying and estimation team providing exceptional services on new builds, fit-outs, building refurbishments or plant replacement projects in a plethora of sectorsfrom healthcare to logisticsOn offer is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of the mechanical team, assisting in estimating cost plans based upon conceptual documents as well as schematic, design development and construction documents for build projectsThis role offers Fastrack progression opportunities to allow you to reach your full potential!The Role:

  • Help in providing cost plans incorporating to all scope requirements
  • Arrange enquiry documents of subcontractors to ensure the estimation is accurate and competitive.
  • Assist with drawing take offs - take off quantities from drawings
  • Participate in the design development to assess buildability, materials, innovation, and cost effectiveness of proposals
  • Work with the team to estimate materials, plant, prelims, and labour to provide complete priced cost plans
