Your new role as Finance Manager:As Finance Manager and controller you shall take responsibility for a junior transactional team and the day to day management of the finance department. A newly established role, reporting to the Financial Director, this role will include an attractive packagein a varied, interesting role. As a hands-on Finance Manager you shall look to manage the month-end routine and seek to partner across the organisation, with a dynamic group of leaders. Supporting the Finance Director year end accounting you shall assist indeveloping the reporting for various areas of the organisation, adding detail to the already established finance function and reporting. As a key manager in the finance team you shall also be exposed to stakeholder engagement, completing ad hoc projects ina varied and versatile role. Main Role Duties: Production of multi-site monthly Management Accounts and associated financial reporting Balance Sheet Reconciliations and control accounting Consolidation of group management accounting at month/yr end Seeking to develop process and procedure across the finance function Support towards developing KPI management across the construction businesses, each of which operating in various sectors and with a variety of business offerings. Variance analysis across the business and over multi-sites Stakeholder engagement across the business Support to the annual budgets and forecasting process Staff development, mentoring and monitoringA truly rounded and diverse role in a rewarding and highly astute business, this position will suit a commercially mined finance professional who is looking to add value whilst remaining hands-on in the numbers. Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:You shall be a confident and commercially minded Finance Manager with a hands-on approach. With a proven track record of adding value and improving process, you shall also hold a recognised qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CTA) or be towards the final stages ofyour qualification. You shall have had staff management/supervision experience with exposure to adding value. Having operated at this level you shall have skills in developing process and procedure and aligning finance departments to become an added valueto the rest of a business.
