Job Description

Finance ManagerMiddleton100% Office BasedImmediate StartClient DetailsAn excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading Transport/Logistics business in Middleton for a Finance Manager to join their expanding team. This company have recently made an acquisition of a competitor and are looking to expand the team to supportthis growth. They are looking forward to further growth in 2023 making it an excellent time to join the company.DescriptionThe Finance Manager role will be 100% office based in Middleton and will report into the Financial Controller.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
  • Reviewing the month end spend analysis and accruals and prepayment
  • Payroll Management- including processing holiday, sick and maternity/paternity pay and expenses, calculating overtime, shift payments and pay increases
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Approving payments and reviewing and managing cashflow
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to Senior Management Team
  • P&L forecasting
  • Product Costing and Analysis
  • Reporting on budgetary variances
  • Managing, reporting on and reconciling all intercompany costs
  • Preparation and reporting of key KPIs for the business
  • Monitoring and review of current accounting systems
ProfileIn order to apply for the role you should:
  • Be at least Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by experience
  • Be confident on Excel to vlook up and pivot table level
  • Ideally have experience of Sage Line 50 or Sage Line 200
  • Have experience of Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
  • Ideally have some Payroll experience
  • Be able to commute full time to Middleton office
  • Be able to consider an immediate start temporary role
