ALocal Authority based in Rochdaleis on the lookout foran enthusiastic, solutions focusedDesktop Engineer, to assist their Desktopteam. They provide customer focused desktop services to over 3000 customers. These arelocated at more than 80 sites in the Rochdale Borough (including Middleton, Heywood & Littleborough). The role is based at the main authoritybuilding in Rochdale. A full valid driving licenseis a must.You will be expected to assist the customer with queries and problems relating to the use of ICT systems in accordance with appropriate SLAs. You willprovide support remotely by telephone, in writing and by site visits. You will also build and deploy thefull ICT Catalogue and maintain asset management records to the agreed standards. Managingyourown time and updatingtickets with current status and resolution information is also something you will be expected to do.Experience of the following is required:
