Job Description

.Our client, a market leader in their sector, are currently searching for an ambitious Commercial Finance Manager due to an internal promotion and restructure.This is an excellent role where you will be at the very forefront of the finance team and work closely with the owner of the business/Head of Finance to advise on commercial decision making.More specifically your duties will include:

  • Product and customer pricing including
    • New opportunities
    • Tenders
    • Price increases
    • Regular reporting on customer/product revenue and margin including the introduction of P&Ls by customer/product category
  • Working closing with sales, marketing & finance colleagues to ensure product costs/commercials are provided accurately and quickly
  • Managing projects to increase product(s) and customer(s) profitability
  • Reviewing the effectiveness of purchasing/production activity including
    • Reviewing pricing and price increases, regular reporting changes to the business
    • Enhancing efficiency reporting, and production cost analysis
This would suit either a part or fully qualified Accountant, (CIMA) degree educated or equivalent, ideally with some commercial exposure, however a candidate with strong Management Accounts experience who is interested in a more analytical role will be considered.Ideally you will also have experience in manfacturing, stock, SAP, or another ERP.Full study support will be provided if required, along with hybrid working and flexible hours.
