Job Description

AdministratorAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Administrator to join a well-established company based in Rochdale. The successful candidate will earn a negotiable salary depending on experience. Working hours are Monday– Thurs:08:30 – 17:00/Friday:08:30 - 16:00.Duties Will Include:

  • Inputting sales orders onto Sage Line 50
  • Processing and following orders through to delivery
  • Liaising with clients and suppliers
  • Booking in and processing of customer enquiries
  • Data entry and upkeep of CRM system
  • Maintaining records of delivery notes and invoices
  • Spreadsheet creation and data entry
  • Clerical duties for MD
  • General support duties for other business departments
  • General reception duties, including handling incoming phone calls in a professional and helpful manner
  • Welcoming visitors to the business
  • Skills and experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years in a similar role
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, strong IT skills, with ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Minimum 3 x GCSE’s (Grade A to C) in English, Maths, and a Science or Technology subject
  • Ability to juggle a number of key priorities effectively
  • Attention to detail – ‘right first time’ approach
  • Excellent organisational skills, including ability to manage own time and meet deadlines
  • ‘Finisher’ - does not need chasing or reminding
  • Team player with ability to influence others to ‘get the job done’
  • Clear and effective communication skills – both written and oral
  • Self-starter, able to take the initiative
