Job Description

Accounts Receivable AssistantMiddletonOffice basedImmediate StartClient DetailsAn excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading Facilities Management company in Middleton due to continued growth and expansion. This company are a market leader in their sector and offer excellent career progression opportunities. They are currentlyundergoing an exciting phase of transformation making it an excellent time to join the business.DescriptionThe Accounts Receivable Assistant role is initially a temporary role for 3-6 months and will be office based 4 days per week in Middleton with the opportunity to do 1 day per week remote working.Reporting into the Finance Manager Key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating & emailing Invoices
  • Creating & emailing Applications
  • Cash allocating & posting, converting apps to invoices to allocate cash.
  • Daily bank reconciliation and reconciling to the credit control cash sheet.
  • Inputting contracts/projects onto WIP & Sage and saving all information and POs to the online folders. Reviewing the POs for all relevant info, e.g retention, legal entity, new customer
  • Monitoring the accounts inbox
  • Dealing with Invoice and Application queries from both customers and credit control.
  • Reviewing payment remittances for credit control, saving to the project folders.
  • Credit Note Requests and creating the credit note if approved.
ProfileIn order to apply for this role you should:
  • Have previous experience in Sales Ledger/Accounts Receivable
  • Be able to commute 4 days per week to Middleton office
  • Be able to consider a temporary role initially
  • Ideally have Sage experience (not essential)
