Summary Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team this role as a Welcome & Service Assistant, plays a core part in providing fantastic customer service.This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. The hours will be spread over 4 days a week on average.The salary advertised is inclusive of £2,828 Outer London Weighting allowance per annum. This 17th century country home has a varied visitor experience, including outdoor events, workshops, theatre, ghost tours and family-friendly activities. The close team is often lookingfor enthusiastic people with great interpersonal skills to join them, particularly for seasonal contracts.The orangery caf offers freshly made food straight from the garden to your plate and the shop also sells a large selection of Ham-grown plants and other varieties. Take a step back in time to over three hundred and fifty years worth of plants and produceoriginally grown in the gardens. Click here for more information about this location What youll be doing As the largest conservation charity in Europe we work hard to raise funds, so that we can continue to care for all the heritage in our trust. Visitors are a vital part of what we do, so youll be responsible for ensuring that you provide an excellent serviceto all our visitors, every day. As a Welcome & Service Assistant, its your role to ensure that the welcome our visitors receive is perfect, setting them up for an amazing experience for the rest of the day.Youll be responsible for answering queries and making sure visitors can find everything they need for their visit. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. Working with our spirit of place youll work with the visitor welcome team to linkeverything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do.Youll deliver high standards of presentation at the property, and ensure all our communications with our visitors are clear and consistent, from the first click on the website, to the posters and signs around the property.
