Senior Technical Project Manager (Pharmaceuticals)£60-70k Salary + BonusBased - Richmond, TW9Mon - Fri 9am - 6pmJune 2020 startBatchelor Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or any other relevant qualificationProject Management experience within the pharmaceutical industry essentialRole:Support and improve the on-going supply difficulty due to technical issues on products at contract manufacturer and to deliver specific projects.Duties:Manage changes to existing products including changes to API, ingredients, packaging, specification, analytical method, process and technical transfer etc.Project management on assigned technical projects from project initiation, planning, executing and closing.Establishing project plan with clear milestones, critical path and resource allocation.Lead and coordinate actions with project team members and CMOs in driving for project on time completion.Identify and resolve technical or project issues occurred during execution phase of project.Facilitate regular project meetings. Facilitate scenario planning and manage project risk proactively.Manage project budget with finance department.Management of and participation in technical activities with contract organisations and manufacturers for project delivery.Authoring, review and approval of technical documentation (BMRs, technical protocol, reports and summaries, etc) to support manufacturing & regulatory activities.Ensure that changes are implemented in a manner that is consistent with the Quality Management System (QMS).Regular project progress report to project sponsor and other key stake holders.Inform project sponsor and other key stake holders on the progress, success, issues, risk, decision needed and budget update of projects using clear and effective reporting tools.Other tasks as delegated by Line Manager which contribute to overall running of the business unit.Provision of technical support and expertise to all relevant activities within the business.Review project related POs and invoices then inform relevant project sponsor for approvalProject Manager team members from other functions such as Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affair, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Affair and Business Development.Skills / Qualifications:Bachelors degree in chemistry, Pharmacy, pharmaceutical science, chemical engineer; or other technically relevant graduate level qualification.Professional Project Management Certification preferred: Prince 2 or PMP or other equivalent qualification.Experience in a technical role of oral solid pharmaceutical dosage form (production/process/formulation development) within the pharmaceutical industry in regulated markets.Project managed technical &/or scientific CMC projects of varying complexity, for example technical transfer for a finish product.Good understanding on common analytical techniques. Can understand specifications and limits and how they are derived.Thorough working knowledge of project management methodology (e.g. Prince 2) and practical experience with project management tools e.g. MS Project.Fully conversant with the regulatory submission requirements and has written significant documents that have been directly included in a submission.Good knowledge on biowaiver.Complete understanding of GMP requirements for manufacturing.Knowledge of clinical efficacy studies and pharmacokinetic studies and the effects of formulation and manufacturing on efficacy and kinetics.Excellent grasp and use of grammatically correct written and spoken English.Working knowledge of MS Project, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and web applications.Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
