Job Description

Our client, a group of award-winning brands has been established for over 3 decades and consists of multiple e-commerce platforms.Their vision is to provide the best service to customers during key events in their life.They are looking for a passionate Product Designer with proficient UX/UI skills to join their growing Product team. The ideal candidate will be skilled at each stage of the design process but always focused on the needs of the customer.They are seeking a candidate who is enthusiastic about building outstanding experiences, who thinks deeply about the customer, user experience, and visual design, and who helps find solutions that allow customers to intuitively use their products.Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our Product Owners, stakeholders, and Developers at every stage of the process to help shape the future of the companys digital products.
  • Produce elegant responsive UI Designs for customer-facing mobile and web experiences
  • Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, low and high-fidelity mock-ups
  • Ensure our multi-brand design system and that all its parts are both beautifully crafted and well-maintained
  • Illustrate your thinking and communicate ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Perform with strong visual design skills and technical knowledge of implementing and feeding into design systems.
  • Implement your UX skills and knowledge of UX standard methodologies
  • Conduct user research through qualitative and quantitative methods to validate solutions
Relevant Skills and Experience:
  • UI and UX design expertise
  • Ensure the work aligns to brand guidelines and help evolve brand identities
  • 3+ years of an experience as a digital designer
  • Proficiency in tools and software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe creative suite, and prototyping tools
  • Skilled at image curation, visual storytelling, typography, layout, form, and colour
  • A strong UI and UX portfolio that showcases your experience working on end-to-end web and mobile projects.
  • Ability to empathise with customers and understand their needs and pain points
  • Be a natural collaborator with diverse teams in a multi-faceted, rapid-growth environment
Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Knowledge of the wider suite of Adobe programs
  • Motion skills a plus
  • Experience working in e-commerce platforms and female-centric brands
