Job Description

Tradewind are seeking a strong Teaching Assistant who is eager to support children with mixed learning abilities, including children with special educational needs on a part time basis. (1-2 days per week)We will also welcome applications from Graduates looking to progress in Education with no current classroom-based experience.About the role:

  • This is a mixed ability reception class, and you may be required to support in other year groups as well.
  • The role will include working in groups and on a 1:1 basis with pupils who require extra support
  • Create stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progress
  • Help to set up and tidy up at the start and end of lessons
Requirements:
  • Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant is ideal but not essential
  • Must have lots of initiative and a flexible, pro-active approach
  • Bachelors degree is ideal but not essential
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
