Job Description

Office ManagerRichmond (3 days in the office, 2 from home) - permanent - full time£40-45,000Well-established, creative, full-service communications agency requires an experienced Office & Operations Manager, to join their busy team, to lead on operations, office management and HR.Working on a hybrid basis from their offices in Central Richmond, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic, intelligent and fun agency and a chance to establish and own a key role within the agency with the opportunity to progress to OperationsDirector.In the role of Office Manager, some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintenance of all aspects of the office, including:
    • Liaison with the landlord for building requirements
    • Liaison with the office fitters for office requirements
    • Arrangements for in-office client meetings and staff events , such as, Summer and Christmas parties
    • Updating health and safety and risk assessments
    • Travel logistics, including planning itineraries and booking transport for the account teams
  • New starter and staff management
    • Management of recruitment, including updating the recruitment tracker, scheduling meeting invitations for interviews, updating the recruiter database. and updating recruiters
    • Updating and creating job descriptions with support from the relevant teams and directors
    • 1st stage interviews, managing internship schemes and initiatives to engage graduates
    • Liaising with IT support team on set up of IT
    • Management of HR policies, processes
    • Holiday requests and sick days
    • Support with the creation of internal communications and updates
    • Maintain and update the staff benefits
    • Scope to support agency projects
To fulfil the role of Office Manager you will have:
  • Previous experience as an operations/office manager looking after HR, office management and operations for a communications/PR/Advertising agency
  • Experience within a communications agency (highly desirable)
  • Tech savvy, using MSOffice, including Outlook and ability to schedule Teams and Zoom calls
  • Collaborative, team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organised with excellent time management and ability to prioritise appropriately and multi-task
In return the Office Managerwill receive a competitive basic salary. You will receive 25 days holiday and the option to buy an extra 5 days. Holiday increases a day a year up to 5 extra days.
