As our Marketing & Communications Officer, youll beresponsible for marketing these special places imaginatively and effectively.Hours:975 annualised hoursThis role is based on annualised hours, where the number of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.Your average annual salary for hours worked will be £12,583.35.Youll be working an average of around 19 hours/week. The spread of these hours over the seven-day period can be flexible and hybrid working is an option.Please note: The salary advertised is inclusive of outer London weighting allowance.Interviews for this role will be held on the 21st and 22nd of November. What its like to work here Atmospheric Ham House is situated on the banks of the River Thames. A rare 17th century survival, it has been shaped by strong women, perilous political machinations, and pioneering collecting and design. Ham has a varied visitor experience, including outdoorevents, workshops, theatre and family-friendly activities. The close team is often looking for enthusiastic people with great interpersonal skills to join them, particularly for seasonal contracts.The Orangery Caf offers freshly made food straight from the garden to your plate and the shop also sells a large selection of Ham-grown plants and other varieties. Take a step back in time to over three hundred and fifty years worth of plants and produceoriginally grown in the gardens.Click here for more information about this location What youll be doing Day to day, youll manage and help develop our annual marketing plan to help achieve our ambitious targets, helping us to reach out to new audiences. This will include defining advertising activities and creating promotional materials and updates (acrossall media platforms, including social media), writing and distributing press releases and representing us on location filming and broadcast media when you need to.Were looking for someone who can help us reach larger and more diverse audiences for our places and our digital content. Youll work as part of a team to make sure that were sharing the best stories we can. Spreading the word about places to visit in thegreat outdoors, and raising awareness of our conservation work is key to what were about.This is a portfolio role. Your responsibilities will mainly be anchored around our visitor offer at Ham House and Garden at first but will extend to support our team at Carlyles House in Central LondonAny hours worked at Carlyles house will be paid inclusive of inner London weighting allowance.Please also read the full role profile, attached to this advert.
