Job Description

  • The ability to liaise with budget holders and project owners, as well as Head of Departments.
  • The individual will be responsible for managing all areas of the accounts, financial planning services and providing vital decision making support.

  • Accurately prepare budgets, forecasts and monthly management accounts. Any discrepancies must be identified and rectified swiftly.
  • Be a key figure-head in advising budget holders and project managers to ensure that correct decisions are made.
  • Have an active role in analysis and reporting the effectiveness of various operational activities.
  • Work closely with the financial accounting team to ensure the accurate recordings of transactions.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, with budget and project managers.
  • Working with external stakeholders, internal auditors, suppliers and customers.
    • Profile
  • 2 years experience at a management accountant level.
  • Part-Qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA - must be an active studier.
  • Ability to solve complex problems with an analytical view.
  • Ability to collate and interpret operational and financial data.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills - VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables.
  • Experience of SUN system is preferable.
