Job Description

My client is looking for a Lead App Developer to join their team on a Remote Permanent basis. You will be leading the greenfield development of the back end for an ARP Solutions using AWSServerless technologies.What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and guiding the development team to meet product requirements and their project goals.
  • Conducting code reviews to ensure requirements have been met, code conforms with standards, issues are rectified, and coverage of unit testing is acceptable.
  • Contributing significantly to the development effort through hands-on coding and solution implementation, especially through proof-of-concept work to guide the application team.
Key Skills and Attributes:
  • Experience leading a team of developers
  • Experience with the following:
  • Python
  • AWSserverless (particularly Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3 and SQS)
  • NoSQL databases (ideally AWSDynamoDB)
  • SQL databases (ideally PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • comprehension of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and its practical implementation, including git-based source control, applying coding standards, automated unit and integration testing, deployment, and maintenance.
