Job Description

Great opportunity to work for an award winning Global Brand.This role is home based.JOB PURPOSEThe Global Social & PR Executive will be an important member of the Marketing team and will assist in the delivery of all social media, influencer and PR activity globally.- You will have experience of managing social media & influencer activity and a strong knowledge and understanding of the Social Media landscape - including content planning and management, optimisation and publishing algorithms, building and engaging communities, social listening and reporting and execution of social & influencer led campaigns.- You are passionate about social and understand the complexities and nuances because you are an avid user.- You have a good understanding of influencer marketing and how it can be utilised to achieve commercial and marketing objectives.- Knowledge of PR landscape and the ability to manage global PR agencies from brief to execution.- You are naturally curious, always seeking out best practice examples, and love to break down barriers with new ways of doing things.- You will be a strong copywriter and know how to craft messaging with the right tone of voice for a social audience.- You will be a confident communicator and be able to build working relationships well.- You will have excellent attention to detail, and it will help to ensure flawless execution of global social & influencer activities.RESPONSIBILITIES- Strategy: Devise and execute social, influencer and PR campaigns as part of wider marketing strategies, working closely with agencies and other marketing streams to ensure synergy and alignment.- Influencer: Manage the influencer outreach program, overseeing the end-to-end process of identification and selection, contract negotiation, content briefing, execution and reporting.- Press office: Managing press office activities through assigned agencies, ensuring all enquiries are handled in a timely manner.- Publishing: Plan and optimise the global social content calendar. Regularly communicating content and messaging updates with wider team and external parties. Manage publishing across multiple platforms and markets, plan logistics around live events and capability to react to external drivers.- Content: Brief in content requirements for campaigns and projects to creative team, incorporating data lead learnings and best practise. Share content performance learnings and devise strategies and tactics to increase reach and engagement.- Localisation: Working closely with the wider team to ensure activity is co-ordinated across regions as appropriate and to ensure campaigns and messages are localised effectively.- Community: Identifying opportunities to engage with and develop stronger relationships with our communities. Work closely with Customer Service manager to ensure all CS contacts are identified and dealt with in line with agreed targets.- Reporting & Insights: Understanding of all platform metrics and ability to interpret data into actionable insights.- Trends & Innovation: Staying on top of, and proactively, sharing trends in Social, PR and the wider digital landscape.PERSONAL PROFILE- The Global Social and PR Executive must demonstrate a clear understanding of all social media platforms- A strong understanding of influencer marketing best practice.- Understanding of PR landscape and the ability to work collaboratively with agencies and press.- A strategic and analytical thinker that can interpret numbers and data into actionable insights and learnings.- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn; enthusiasm is a must.- A confident communicator able to present social campaigns and activities to the wider team.- Ability to interpret, prioritise and deliver actions with a sharp attention to detail.- Can work under pressure, with the ability to be reactive and flexible in a fast-paced environment.- Degree level education.
