Job Description

Finance Manager, up to 12 months FTC £85,000-£88,000 plus bonus West London, hybridOur client is a global real estate development and investment management group of companies with an impressive track record and high returns across various asset classes. They own and manage a multibillion-dollar portfolio of different real estate assetclasses across the globe.They are looking for Finance Manager to join their finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract, with the option to become permanent, based in West London. The Finance Manage will be reporting to the Director of the team and be responsible for the financialaccounting and reporting of the UK portfolio.Responsibilities include

  • Ensure preparation and/ or review of financial statements is accurate and timely
  • Oversee the audit process, and timely submission to the relevant statutory bodies
  • In charge of technical accounting updates for the UK ensuring IFRS compliance
  • Support with tax matters (such as VAT and corporate/income tax returns) including preparation of tax computation or working closely with the tax consultant and attending to tax queries from the tax authorities
  • Oversee the on-boarding or transition of new assets and acquisitions
  • Support with internal control and compliance
  • Liaise with various third parties in UK and global offices, external and internal stakeholders
Key Requirements
  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified Accountant
  • Strong prior experience in a similar role, ideally from a real estate investment company/ developer/ landlord
  • Good people management skills
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Excellent communication skills are required
