Job Description

A great opportunity to join a leading organisation in a busy and interesting Digital Designer role with the opportunity to move permanent.Our clients digital design and production team act as an internal resource (like an in-house agency but they are fully in-house), supporting multiple in-house marketing teams who market across a variety of industries.Duties will include

  • Creating digital assets including web banners, animated banners, GIF, artwork and assets for social media, websites, and mobile apps.
  • Liaising with direct print agencies for offline design work
  • Prioritise and streamline work requests through ticketing system
  • Sitting with in-house marketing teams taking briefs for content, marketing, email, social and mobile campaigns
  • Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to
  • Create layout designs working with UX team
  • Guiding and advising marketing teams on digital design guidelines aligned to their content strategy
  • Overseeing a Junior Designer
    • Experience and skills
  • Proficient digital design experience, ideally in a role managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience of prioritising multiple design requests
  • Hands-on digital design skills including animated banners and artwork for web, mobile apps, email, social media
  • Experience of managing third party / agency for print design (Signage etc)
  • Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe After Effects and ticketing system such as JIRA
  • Ideally experience of customer journey and UX or working with UX teams - not essential
  • Ideally similar experience working with multiple in-house teams taking briefs face to face, providing input and recommendations from a digital design perspective, prioritising tasks to set deadlines, identifying opportunities for process improvements, working with marketing, email, mobile, social, web, print teams - not essential
    • SalaryOur client is seeking a permanent candidate, salary will be negotiable and dependent on relevant skills and experience. Due to urgent business need, they are also offering the option of a 3 month fixed term contract at circa £250 per day or salary pro-rata with immediate start availability.Armstrong Lloyd is a marketing specialist recruitment services provider.
