Data Migration Manager is required by our industry leading client to manage the Data Migration process and project from a Legacy application to a new solution consisting of multiple applications.Whilst this is not directly a hands-on technical role, as you will have a small team of Business Analysts, ETL Developers and Testers reporting to you, you must have come from a hands-on technical background into a Data Migration management role.It is therefore extremely important that you can demonstrate where you have not only managed and delivered data migration projects, how you have delivered them and what you have achieved, but also have the technical background and ability to be able to reviewcode and guide developers.You should therefore have gained good experience previously with ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend and/or SSRS/SSIS, however as already mentioned you will not be required to be hands on this role.This will initially be an 18 months Fixed Term Contract with an excellent salary, c£80,000 + 15% end of contract bonus plus a very high con-contributory pension scheme, as well as other benefits and hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office and 2-3 daysworking from home.
