Job Description

My client has been identifying market moves and trends into the financial markets to over 50 major investment banks.The Role This role covers two specific areas of the business, both copy typing and the client/sales management and administration. Being a great teammate and having a conscientious work ethic is crucial. You build relationships quickly and easily, you know how to network with people and what it really takes just to get things done. You enjoy taking initiatives, troubleshooting issues, solving problems and have a natural eye for detail.Most of the time this role can be accomplished at home but there may be times when presence in the office in Richmond is required for cover etc.The working week is 40-hours plus breaks on a shift pattern, between 7am and 9pm, with shift to be negotiated and a degree of flexibility is possible during slower periods. Copy Typing: The process includes rapidly analysing mainly email information, and re-writing in a specific short-form before publishing. The role requires the ability to read the salient points quickly, and with experience make a judgement call frequently on which sector the information belongs to and switching between tasks during busy periods, which can be very pressurized.The intelligence to appraise information rapidly and fast keyboard skills are essential as is the ability to remain unflustered at the constant switching between tasks.The ability to multi-task especially to be able to type and at the same time talk on the phone about another topic with clients, the Director and any other team member, is essential. Clients Relationship and Sales Administration: Responsible for working with our external clients to handle all their real-time data requests on our Bondrumours internet service and provide customer service, you will have the opportunity to be the vital link that our clients depend upon when assisting with their real-time market data enquiries.   • Requisite skills to prioritise time-sensitive tasks, and be able to make effective decisions in a fast-paced high pressured environment
