COMMERCIAL ANALYST - 12 MONTH FTC£50,000-60,000 + BENEFITSLONDONAre you looking to work amongst talent individuals in a leading, data-driven e-commerce/marketplace company This is an excellent opportunity to work cross-functionally to deliver actionable insights as a Commercial Analyst.THE COMPANYThis leading company are heavily driven by Data and Analytics and are looking for a Commercial Analyst to deliver actionable and meaningful insights from data gathered across various functions. This company has a vast amount of data to work through and as the Commercial Analyst, you will be working closely with talented individuals to deliver essential insight that result in excellent growth.THE ROLEAs a Commercial Analyst, you can expect to be researching and performing quantitative analysis across the user journey to improve conversion, drop-offs and potential growth areas. You will be producing actionable, but more importantly, relevant insights to the business with the goal of improving the companys commercial viability.More specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Identification of opportunities to increase revenue through product optimisations
  • Analysis and interpretation of testing results and optimisation experiments in a statistical and scientific manor using SQL
  • Analysing pricing strategies using profitability analysis
  • Performing channel analysis to drive revenue by improving channel performance
  • Utilising visualisation tools such as Tableau
  • Analysis of customer behaviour for the purpose of generating insights and testable hypotheses across partnership, sales, marketing and product teams
    • YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEThe successful Commercial Analyst will have the following skills and experience:
  • Educated to a degree level with a significant quantitative component (e.g. math, computer science, physics or economics)
  • Statistical background with experience working on commercial analytics across functions such as marketing, product and finance
  • Full proficiency using SQL, commercial experience visualising data within tools such as Tableau, Power BI etc
  • Must be able to work well in a collaborative environment cross-functionally whilst working autonomously
