Job Description

Role overview:Working from our vibrant Lettings head office in Richmond, the successful candidate willwork alongsideour Tenancy Progression, Client Services, Property Management and Renewals teams. Youll be assisting the Head of Department in leading the Credit Control,Purchase Ledger and Banking functions, relating to ResidentialLettings and Property Management.Your primary role will be to oversee and lead a team of 8 within the Lettings division, performing administrative and accounting tasks. This role would perfectly suit someone with previous accounts experience within residential lettings at a senior level. Theideal candidate will have great people skills and be able to inspire and lead by example with great enthusiasm.Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and leading the Credit Control, purchase ledger and banking functions
  • Ensuring all contractor invoices are paid correctly and in a timely manner
  • Proactively looking for ways to reduce tenant and landlord arrears
  • Ensuring the banking process is carried out correctly and promptly
  • Ensuring all queries are responded to in a professional and efficient way
  • Maintaining good communication with your head of department
  • Monitoring/approving annual leave and ensuring cover is organised
  • Overseeing any training needs
  • Conducting weekly team meetings
  • Conducting Monthly Business Reviews of team members
  • Implementing high people management standards to allow team members to develop and grow.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
  • Knowledge of Reapit would be preferable (but not essential)
  • Proven understanding of all Client Account functions
  • Strong team player, builds relationships and consults with others
  • Strong decision maker
  • Confident, with a positive outlook
  • Ability to create/amend processes to provide efficiencies for the business and better experiences for our clients.
