Description Watch Commander B Lead Instructor Firefighter Apprenticeship£35275 - £38611 per annum (plus Surrey Allowance £1,354) for 42 hours per week at Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.This role is subject to a 10% day work enhancement.A standard DBS Disclosure and Barring Service check for regulated activity (formerly known as CRB) is required for this role.Flexible working is supported, laptop and mobile supplied. 33 days and 3 long service days annual leave, Firefighters pension scheme. Travel across sites would be required.Surrey Fire and Rescue Service has the responsibility of protecting over one million people who live in the 650 square miles of Surrey. These include Whole time, on-call and fixed term contract.To be shortlisted for this position please clearly evidence in your application and personal statement:QualificationsLevel 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocation Achievement.Level 3 Award in Education and TrainingLevel 3 Award in Foundation Incident CommandA Level 3 Qualification in Leadership and ManagementIOSH Managing SafelyParticipate in and pass the core technical and professional development programmesA valid driving licence that enables you to drive in the UK or the ability to learn if requiredKnowledge and Experience•Experience in developing and delivering activities for Firefighter Operations Level 3 Apprenticeship Programme.•An experienced level 1 incident commander within the Fire and Rescue Service.•Understanding of the variety of different learning needs and preferences that affect the way students learn.•To have worked within a team environment to achieve objectives of the organisation•Experience of providing a customer focused service•Experience of having managed problems, and effective decision making ability.
