This role has a starting salary of £77,260 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week. We are looking for a new Portfolio Lead to help us in our commitment to delivering good quality, cost effective services is more important than ever in these times of economic uncertainty.We do know that the constraints on public finances will continue for the foreseeable future and that we will need to deliver services in a fundamentally different way. Whilst presenting a challenge, this also provides significant opportunities for us totake a more radical approach, seeking new ways to deliver innovative and high-quality services for our residents and communities.Existing service focused approaches have been successful in delivering efficiencies but are now largely exhausted. We are developing an approach to look at how the organisation operates with a view to creating better connected and more joined up servicesto deliver solutions in a complex system as part of an ambitious transformation programme.This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join the newly created Design and Transformation Service at an exciting time and will play a key role in helping to develop, shape and deliver future operating models.The role will report directly to Assistant Director of Transformation. The post holder will work closely with Executive Directors, Directors, Elected Members and other key stakeholders. Overseeing the assurance and delivery of a strategic portfolio of keychange programmes the postholder will operate closely with the key individuals in the Adults Directorate in particular the Strategic Director for Transformation, Assurance & Integration and the Adults Assistant Director for Transformation.The post holder will operate effectively with the other Transformation Portfolio Leads and also work collaboratively with our finance, HR, IT&D and strategy teams along with subject matter experts within the directorate.For more information please find the full job description on our website and refer to this before submitting your application.
