Job Title:Deputy Head Green KeeperSalary:Competitive, Dependant on experience.Benefits:Company PensionContract Type:Permanent/Full time -6am- 3pm Monday - FridayLocation:Reigate, Surrey RH2 0TUOur client is a leading Golf Club, set in the beautiful Surrey countryside and with stunning views their homely clubhouse warmly welcomes everyone who visits them. Located just north of Reigate and within 3 minutes of junction 8 off the M25 they are perfect for hosting a business meeting in one of their conference rooms, holding your wedding reception in their Wedding venue or to play a round on their scenic golf course.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Head Green Keeper to join this expanding Golf Club.This is a permanent role workingmainly 6am – 3pm Monday – Friday and weekend mornings on a rota basis. This role will also suit an experienced Assistant Green Keeper who feels he is ready for the next step.JOB ROLE:As a Deputy Head Green Keeper your duties will include:

  • Deputising for the Course Manager
  • Managing the irrigation system
  • Leading and coaching the rest of the team
  • Basic green keeping tasks.
  • Mowing, strimming, bunker raking.
    • IDEAL CANDIDATE:An ideal Deputy Head Green Keeper will hold the following skills and experiences:
  • Good hands on experience, preferably from a green keeping, gardening or landscaping background.
  • A solid understanding of irrigation systems and facility management.
  • Relevant qualifications in spraying, PA1, PA2, PA6.
  • Experience in operating machinery.
  • A practical mindset with a hands-on approach to hard work and a pride in presenting the best facility possible.
  • Be able to adhere to all health and safety.
  • Be physically fit.
  • Live within a commutable distance and have the right to work in the UK.
